These fabulous stones are so unique! They are flat with a mirror backing and not faceting on the rounded front, which makes them bright and shining. They catch a lot of light and the beautiful rich red Garnet color is very prominent!

The stones themselves are a large 18x13mm (about 3/4 inch long), so these are bold, statement earrings.

These are set in plated cast-brass settings that are the best available option for reproduction Georgian jewelry. Unlike modern earrings, these wires are soldered to the back of the setting itself, just as it was done in the period. These are also great for modern wear because you don't have to worry about them working themselves out of your ear, which I always worry about with larger earrings. These sturdy hooks will stay in place all day.
